The CNN Center is the world headquarters of the Cable News Network (CNN). The main news rooms and sets for the anchors of several of CNNs news channels are located in the building. The CNN Center opened in 1976 as the Turner Center. The atrium escalator that is used to transport visitors on the CNN tour has been listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the longest freestanding escalator in the world.

  1. fff1313 - given what I have seen when I was there,and hear from people who live in these places , 3 top cities are VANCOUVER BC, SEATTLE, AND CHICAGO. GO TO FACEBOOK,THERE IS A BIG PAGE CALLED ATLANTA SUCKS WITH COMMENTS FROM PEOPLE WHO LIVE THERE, Atlanta may be for some, not for all, like any other city.I was there for a few months,nice people,I liked CNN CENTER, THE VARSITY,THAT WAS IT ! ATL to me is more like a huge suburb rather than a city. to each their own.

  12. gacaptain - @kaziabdal No. Definitely not always. You must have visited in the winter. There are often days like that in that season. However, the weather varies alot and you will often see sunny days even in winter time. The best weather is in the fall and spring with pleasantly warm sunny days. Summer days are often hot humid and hazy.
