The Baltimore Boat Show, Marylands longest-running indoor boating event, will pack the Baltimore Convention Center with more boats, more exhibits, and more family fun than ever before! Its four days of boating fun and entertainment Theres something for everyone, including educational seminars and kid-friendly activities.

The Show is produced by the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA), the worlds largest producer of boat shows. NMMA is the leading association representing the $39.5 billion per year recreational boating industry. NMMA member companies produce over 80 percent of the boats, engines, trailers, accessories and gear used by boaters and anglers in the U.S.

Boaters of all skill levels will find the best prices and selection of boats and accessories in the region. Bring the whole family along - there will be plenty of special features and activities for all ages to enjoy while shopping the show. For the first time, attendees can make the most of their boat show visit by pre-shopping the show online where they can plan ahead by scheduling dealer appointments and searching boats by brand, model and more.

A very special collection of antique and classic boats will make its debut at this years show. Members of the Chesapeake Bay Chapter of the Antique and Classic Boat Society (ACBS) will display a number of finely restored classic wooden boats. The boats on display include a 1927 Chris-Craft runabout and a 1947 Ventnor Class E runabout named -Hurry Home- who got its name at the height of World War II when coming home was top of mind for soldiers and their families. Visitors can experience the restoration process first-hand by talking with ACBS members and local master restorer George Hazzard.

Show attendees can also take advantage of a number of FREE fishing, boating and sailing seminars offered by the Annapolis School of Seamanship. Seminars include Safe Boating, Family Cruising, Boat Buying 101, Collision Avoidance, Start Sailing Now and others.

Young boaters can join in on the fun on self-steered paddleboats at the mini-lake, check out fun activities from the National Aquarium, visit with SpongeBob Squarepants or hear the story of Blackbear the Pirate from author Steve Buckley.
