In addition to racing, the day features The Meadows, a fantastic family-friendly destination that includes children’s activities, food concessions, live music and much more.

STICK PONY RACE

The G. Leslie Grimes Memorial Stick Pony Race is a highly anticipated event and is a fan-favorite for the kids and the audience. All children 8 and under are invited to become jockeys and must provide their own stick pony. Do not have one? You can make one at The Meadows! New this year, you can register in advance and help us support the GBMC Pediatric Emergency Department by raising pledge money.
